The heart of Gunbae is the flameless grills embedded within each table, inviting sailors to become chefs of their own meals. The BBQ grill menu is a delectable journey through Korean flavors, featuring marinated short ribs, and a medley of seafood like squid, octopus, and shrimp. For those seeking an opulent treat, the Wagyu Beef platter is a premium item that promises to elevate the meal with its rich marbling and sumptuous taste.

Gunbae is a hands-on meat-grilling and soju-drinking Korean BBQ experience where each sailor cooks their own food in the flameless grills at the center of each table.
Dress Code
Virgin Voyage’s dress code is “whatever makes you feel like the best version of yourself.” While they don’t enforce any type of dress code (ever!), Gunbae is a dinner-only restaurant with a very social atmosphere so sailors do dress up a bit. You can’t go wrong with either cocktail attire or resort casual.
Ambiance
Think the 70’s nightclub meets K-Pop glam that sets is apart from the elegance of The Wake, the sophistication of Extra Virgin, and the industrial look of The Test Kitchen. Also beware: Gunbae is all about community and fun so get ready to share the table and make some new friends!

Gunbae opens only dinner. The hours of operation vary slightly depending on the day of the week or your cruise itinerary.
- Dinner is usually from 5:45pm or 6:00pm until 10:00pm
