Extra Virgin Overview
As Sailors step into Extra Virgin, they are greeted with warm colors and a vibrant yet inviting ambiance, setting the stage for an authentic Italian dining experience. At the heart of Extra Virgin’s menu is the handmade pasta, freshly made in-house, which stands as a testament to their commitment to culinary excellence and Italian tradition. The flavors take inspiration from different regions across Italy, offering Sailors a diverse taste experience.
Starting with an extensive wine and cocktail list, the journey begins with antipasti such as fried calamari and braised mini meatballs, leading to a delightful platter known as Affettati Misti, a must-try that’s brimming with rich cheeses and cured meats.
The pasta dishes, such as the gnocchi with truffle butter sauce and pappardelle al ragu, are the stars of the show, embodying textures and flavors reminiscent of cherished Italian home cooking. And of course, no meal at Extra Virgin would be complete without indulging in dessert! The affogato cart presents custom-made gelato sundaes topped with a shot of espresso for a truly delightful finish.

Dress Code
Virgin Voyage’s dress code is “whatever makes you feel like the best version of yourself.” While they don’t enforce any type of dress code (ever!), you might want to clean up a bit for a nice dinner at Extra Virgin. Resort casual for dinner is appropriate.
Ambiance
Extra Virgin on Virgin Voyages captures the essence of a trendy SoHo bistro with its modern yet cozy atmosphere. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a classic Italian dining setting, offering an authentic and inviting ambiance.
Hours of Operation
Extra Virgin opens only dinner. The hours of operation vary slightly depending on the day of the week or your cruise itinerary.
- Dinner is usually from 5:45pm or 6:00pm until 10:00pm

Reservations
Along with The Wake and Pink Agave, Extra Virgin is one of the most popular dinner restaurants on a Virgin Voyages cruise. Reservations are not required but highly recommended. If you’re planning to walk-in, show up early to put your name on the wait list and keep in mind some days are busier that others.
Dinner reservation become available via the Virgin Voyages app 60 days before departure for RockStars and Mega RockStars Suites and 45 days for all other Sailors.
