Does Virgin Voyages do anything special for anniversaries and birthdays?
Absolutely! Virgin Voyages offers a selection of exciting celebration packages and add-ons that can enhance any special occasion, including anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, and groups gatherings.
Virgin Voyages Celebration Packages and Add-ons
There are a few options to choose from:
Splash for Romance
The Splash of Romance package is $250 per cabin (2 Sailors) so it’s perfect for couples celebrating an anniversary. However, many Sailors book this add-on because it’s one of the ways you can get Priority Boarding.

- Two 3-Hour Thermal Spa Passes
- A Shake for Champagne (Bottle of Moët & Chandon)
- Exclusive Sail Away Hour
- Sultry bites
Virgin Voyages only allows a limited number of Splash of Romance packages in each sailing so book early! Splash of Romance package is refundable up to 24 hours prior to embarkation so if they’re sold out, check again closer to departure. You may get lucky if someone cancels!
Splash for Your Bash
While the Splash for Your Bash can be purchased and enjoyed by couples, it’s ideal for small-ish groups. If you’re traveling with 8 or more Sailors, it can be difficult to get dining reservations for the whole party, especially on shorter sailings. With Splash for Your Bash, your group is guaranteed at least one dinner and one brunch together.
The Splash for Your Bash costs $250 per cabin (2 Sailors) and includes:
- One (1) bottomless brunch at either The Wake or Razzle Dazzle. Non-alcoholic options including Noughty Sparkling Mimosas, Heineken 0.0%, and non-alcoholic Bloody Marys are also available.
- One (1) dinner party with curated beverages and desserts at a Virgin Voyages restaurant of your choice.
- One (1) bottle of Moët & Chandon per cabin.
Bubbles, Chocolate and Flowers
In addition to the packages, Sailors can pre-order amenities like as champagne, chocolates, and flower packages. There are various options to choose from including non-alcoholic bubbles.
Here are some of the options available:
- Pre-book your Bubbles: a bottle of Moët & Chandon.
- Blooms and Bubbles: a bottle of Moët & Chandon and a bouquet of roses.
- Chocolates & Fresh Florals: a box of Lily O’Brien chocolates and a bouquet of roses.
- Sweets, Bubbles & Blooms: a box of Lily O’Brien chocolates, a bottle of MoĂ«t & Chandon, and a bouquet of roses.

Heads up! Add-ons with chocolates and flowers may only be available on Miami and San Juan departures. If you’re sailing out of other ports, there are some creative things I can suggest to make your celebration special.
How to Book Celebration Packages and Add-Ons
You can book and purchase celebration packages directly in your Virgin Voyages account via the website or app. Or just ask your First Mate (aka me!) to book for you.
Book on the Virgin Voyages website
While the Virgin Voyages App is great onboard, I find it’s a lot easier to manage your pre-cruise experience online. This includes booking add-ons, shore excursions, and even making dining reservations:
- Head to virginvoyages.com
- Click the avatar icon next to the “Book Now” button on the top right corner to login to your account.
- Find your cruise under “Upcoming Voyages” and click “Go to Voyage Home”
- Navigate to the “Discover” tab and scroll to the bottom of the page to find “Add-ons”
- Click “see all” to explore all your options and voilĂ !
Book on Virgin Voyages App
After you login to your Virgin Voyages App, scroll down the home page and click on “purchase add-ons”. There you’ll find the celebration packages alongside other popular add-ons like Bar Tab and Premium Wifi.
